About Alpine Adventures Staff

Program Director - Dave Ross

Dave Ross has been actively involved with the Alpine Juniors, Snowdrifters, Winterset and NorCAL Ski Shuttle programs since 1969. Certified instructors, Dave and his wife Ann have been members of the Professional Ski Instructors Association ( PSIA ) for more than 20 years.

They have logged countless miles skiing with club members in Europe, Canada, the U.S. and countless hours making sure all the details are in order and everyone has a good time.

Dave loves to ski with all levels of skiers and boarders. Taking people to ski and explore new areas, locales, and trails is one of his passions.

Alpine Juniors, Snowdrifters, Winterset, & NorCal Ski Shuttle are Sacramento's most popular clubs for skiers and snowboarders. Founded in 1965, we offer supervised Saturday and Sunday trips for children and teens. For adults, we offer Wednesday trips to Tahoe's top resorts and week long trips to resorts throughout the Western States, Canada, and Europe.

Craig is an engineer by trade (but don't let that scare you, as he is NOT a total geek), and a skier by passion. He has been skiing for about 30 years since he started in college. He has been working with kids and adults in a club atmosphere for the last 17 years. He really enjoys introducing someone new to the sport of skiing. In his career as an environmental engineer, he has received a security clearance for work with the U.S Government.

Paul learned to ski in his native Australia. He has spent most of his adult life leading group tours around the world and has worked with kids ski and snowboard programs in the U.S. for 13 years. He's a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America and has a passion for passing on his knowledge of the sport to others. When he's not on his skis or falling off his snowboard, Paul works at Intel as a Product Manager. In his quest to gain U.S. citizenship he has endured (and passed) many background checks with the FBI and local authorities.
